What fears stand in your way?

Kundalini, awakening, spiritual awakening, how to, sudden awakening, realisation, self realisation,

The aspect of spiritual awakening I find most beautiful is that we are all in equal standing. It doesn’t matter how many years of schooling or university you have under your belt, or if you’ve lived 80 years, or if you’re a scholar or professor who has written many papers and books, we can all ascertain the grandest wisdom to understand it all.

We’re all in equal standing to realise truth.

I’ve experienced my Soul in all it’s glory, and each time I do it’s the most incredible experience of all-encompassing love and bliss. It’s where I want to stay. However like so many other people, I fear I’ve slipped back into gentle slumber. I can see the signs. The slight irritation creeping into the crevices of the unobserved mind, and it makes me wonder, am I afraid to live awakened?

Surely that fear must only be possible by the ego, so even by pondering the question of being afraid merely points out my current allegiance. Nevertheless, I delve further.

I asked myself or my ego self, to that which it is afraid?

I fear I’d be lonely. I fear no-one would understand me and that my whole world would change.

By merely speaking my fears, answers arise within, as though they’ve been waiting in the wings to flood my consciousness.

“True awakening is not like that,” a voice from within commands my attention.

“What changes is your perception, your experience of the illusory world, and not the illusory world itself – well not at first.

At first your outer experience remains as it was prior to awakening, for it is not until you realise only truth cannot change that you will be done with the game of your illusory world. And then everything you thought was real will change once and for all, and you will see that it was never anything at all. And that is when you come home.”

I sat with the vibration of the words and felt the power of a deeper knowing that I do want to awaken. And I’ll know when the true awakening has occurred because I’ll connect into my Soul – I’ll be my Soul, and there’ll be no fear.

Even as I write these words I feel the sway, the dance of awakening unfolding, burying my ego in the dark soil of my skin, and making way so the love within can waken.

More questions arise in the wake of further realisations, and my attention is heightened. I’ve finally got my attention. I ask of the voice:

“How can I awaken right now?”

“Be love, sink into eternal Soul through true recognition of Self. That’s all. That is not hard for those who know who they are. Find Yourself and you find All.”

Does Your Life Feel Complicated?

complicated life, help, how to, advice, spiritual, wisdomThe only aspect of life we can truly control is our state of being.

And when we master that, everything else falls into place.

But we complicate our existence.

Correction…

Ego complicates.

Spirit simplifies.

What areas of your life feels complicated and a mess right now?

Have you let your ego-mind take the reigns?

Do you have hidden drives clouding your judgement in this area – such as money, self-worth, jealousy, pride?

We always know the way out of our problems, and how to reduce the complications and complexities in our lives. And it’s certainly not through lists of pro’s and con’s, or through deep analysis, or through speaking to people about how annoying and wrong other people are.

It’s through doing nothing. Just stopping everything, pausing from your life, and giving a chance for your heart to speak.

Our deeper knowing is always there, but we just have to get out of our heads to give it a chance to be heard.

Call on your Soul to speak to you. It’s language is powerful yet subtle, and it usually doesn’t speak in words. Here’s a quick exercise to help you connect into your own wise inner force.

2 Minute Soul Voice Meditation –

Shift your focus away from everything and everyone in your life, and move it to your heart. Close your eyes, and keep your focus on your heart beating deeply inside of your chest.

Inhale fully. Let your mind rest, without ‘trying’ to silence it.

Exhale. If your attention has drifted, that’s okay. Bring it back to your heart. Can you feel it beating? Breathe into it.

Breathe out.

Feel for your answers.

The light of your Soul shines within you,

and is waiting to be heard.

Get quiet and curious,

and listen for her.

With love and quiet whispers,

Sharon

It’s time to write your Soul Goals

life purpose, 2016, resolutions, goals, how to, help, life, happy, soulDo you hate New Year’s Resolutions? Well, I know the word hate might be a bit harsh, but do you dislike them? Usually even just the thought of New Year’s Resolutions reminds us of all the things we didn’t do, of our ‘failures’.

Even the word ‘Resolution’ is so definitive, and really, it’s too black and white to be helpful when it comes to setting out what we hope to achieve.

But what I love to do this time of year is start dreaming.

I reflect upon what made me happiest and most fulfilled in 2015, and then let my imagination dream up what could make 2016 my best year yet.

I ask myself – What do I want to do more of, and how do I want my life to look?

Take a few minutes now to reflect over what made you happiest in 2015.

Then let yourself dream about what could make an even more joyful and fulfilling life. For example; if your job isn’t fulfilling you, then dream about what does fulfill you, starting small. It might be painting, spending time with friends, writing a blog, bike riding, meditating. How could you incorporate more of this into your life?

Take a deep breath as you let yourself dream. Then as the ideas come start writing them all down.

2016, life, purpose, goals, how to, achieve, happy, help, soul, spiritual

Now let go (and cross out) all the ideas that don’t feel as though they are coming from your heart – you know the ones! The ones that we think we ‘should’ want – like the healthy eating or meditating (even though meditating is definitely from my heart and is on my list!).

Read over your list, slowly. Breathe in and out as you read each one. How does each one feel? If some feel heavy then question whether it’s really something your soul wants, or whether it’s really coming from your head.

Review what’s left and ask yourself what your life will be like when you’ve reached each goal. What would your day to day look like? How will things be different?

**It’s the little actions we do regularly that brings about BIG change.**

As you refine your list you’ll most likely feel energised as these are your Soul Goals. Remind yourself of your list often and ask ‘what can I do toward a Soul Goal today?’

What comes to mind that would be on your list?

What if 2016 was going to be your BEST year yet?

Challenged Back To Spirit

Infinite SoulI was deeply challenged yesterday and for a brief period, I allowed my knowing and my ideas on love and life and soul to be viewed as just fanciful notions. I allowed circumstance to pull me back into the physicality of the human experience and to disconnect me – to disconnect myself from my true self. From Spirit.

Are your spiritual beliefs bound by circumstance? Can you, in one moment, believe that you are love, that you are a soul, only to then in the next moment, reject another because of their beliefs, words or actions? Or reject spirit and love because you have been hurt? Or reject life because another harms you too badly? What are the limits to which you take your spirituality? At what point can you reject the things that today you believe to be true?

I found my limits yesterday, where the pain of human experience could be so bad that I questioned everything. And through questioning and feeling lost and confused I finally saw the situation, the circumstance for what it really was.

I realised that when I am wholly connected with my true self then there are no limits. There is no circumstance so great that I will question everything – when I am my true self. And if there is then I know I am not fully connected with my true self; I am not my true self, I am my body, I am reactive, and I am bound by rules and limitation.

Therefore, I now recognise that if I am experiencing limits to my spirituality, to my self as a soul then this does not mean I need to re-evaluate my beliefs or evaluate the meaning of it all and the pain we can experience, it purely and simply means that I am not wholly connected with my true self. I have steered away and I am not connected.

It is through this awareness of disconnection that I can become whole once more. I can return to my true self and know that I am okay and that everyone is okay, no matter what happens in our physical reality.
