“What can I do to move forward with my career goals?”

Forwarding note: If you feel guided to read some or all of this reading then know there are aspects of the message meant for you. We travel not alone, yet share our dreams, worries, desires, and deepest fears.

“What am I doing with my Life” 6 card spread

When I sat down to do this reading I closed my eyes and called in guides and angels to be of assistance. I felt someone hold my hand, it felt like a human hand however extremely loving. Almost like the power of a love we’re not quite capable of whilst in human form. I knew I was not alone and was being shown the way.

1 “Me Now”

Queen of Wands

Tarot Message: The Queen of Wands is strongly in her feminine, she knows what she wants and where she is going. She is in touch with her feminine and can express herself freely and confidently without worrying about what people think of her. You are going through a period of self-expression, don’t deny yourself the right to be as accomplished and successful as you want. Use your intuition to move forward. You are enthusiastic for new change or development in your life. Let yourself shine, you know you are a radiant being, it’s time to give yourself permission to shine. Don’t dim your light for fear of outshining others.

Awakening Angels: There is a fire that burns within you, however it is someone subdued at present. Maye you don’t know where to direct this fire, but fear not, it has not diminished it is waiting to be unleashed. Your guides and angels are with you, should you choose to call on them more. You have forgotten a lost art that is yours to play with. Don’t be disillusioned, that doesn’t wear well on you.

2 “What am I afraid of”

The Chariot

Tarot Message: This card is all about diligence, willpower and perseverance. You feel as though you’re being pulled in two directions, and it’s time to learn how to stick to the right path. It’s time to take the reigns of your own life, not in a controlling way yet in a way that is giving power to your higher path. Call on the higher powers for help with moving forward. You can lead with love, instead of being at the whim of your emotions.

Awakening Angels: You are afraid of leaving people behind. You’re afraid that you’re capable of so much that you’ll charge on ahead, leaving a wake of upset loved ones on your path. You worry not for you, cause you know you’ll be okay, but you worry for others. You are a caring soul yet your power wants to move forward. Follow it. Additionally there is a message about structure and maybe even discipline. You are capable of structure and this will help you develop in the areas that will serve you, a little foundation of structure and practice will go along way. It won’t bog you down, it’ll propel you forwards.

3 “Past Influences” – beneficial

Six of Cups

Tarot Message: You’ve stayed connected to the innocence associated with being a child, a certain playfulness in life. You’ve brought through lightness, love and goodwill to all. You like to believe that giving out goodness it will come back to you. This has been important to you and has guided many aspects of your life.

Awakening Angels: You have been influenced by community, equality and ideals about flourishing together. You value nature, goodness, richness of spirit, and you like to help others. Other people have looked to you for help.

4 “Past Influences” – negative

Nine of Coins

Tarot Message: You have a tendency to not let anyone get close to you, or there is a guardedness, perhaps people would think you are more open than you really are. You’ve been dedicated to a mission and that mission has now been accomplished. You can enjoy the successes of a goal achieved. Revel in the way you have not succumbed to inner or unconscious doubt. You’ve been independent and self-reliant.

Awakening Angels: Your past influences have also been feeling as though you’re alone, as though no-one quite gets you. Your thinking is sometimes move advanced (for lack f a better word) than of those around you and this can cause a deeper frustration of not being challenged to grow as you help others to do. You turn to nature and animals in these times as there is a universal understanding that you can connect into, and share with them. It brings you peace and assurance.

5 “I promise myself this”

Seven of Wands

Tarot Message: Defiance and self-belief are strongly indicated. This is not a passive card, but one where you must move forward amongst opposition. It’s time for you to say ‘no’ rather than to compromise. You are a warrior and your spirit will move you forward in the face of resistance, whether that resistence comes from within you with self-doubt, or from those that are around you. You can do this.

Awakening Angels: Now is the time to fight for the urges of your spirit. The wands are all about propelling you forward on the journey of your soul. You are motivated by unseen forces of the soul, and not that of worldly possessions. Don’t get confused with what you want and how to achieve that. When all is said and done you’ll be most proud of your spiritual, soulful growth, the life that meant something to your heart, that fought for your hearts mission. Why do you not ask your heart to reveal more to you at this point? It has a fire within and requests a guardian in you. It is time to move on, to keep climbing. You are in the midst of a journey and not at the final destination. What does your heart yearn for? Nothing is too grand for you.

6 “If you do what card 5 suggested…this will happen”

Ace of Swords

Tarot Message: This card represents facing up to a new challenge with logic and firmness. Believe in yourself (this is a theme), don’t doubt your motivations or intentions, be ready to leap into action. You are being urged also not to carry through any disillusion or bitterness from your past as this will hold you back from fully becoming the Ace of Swords. It might not be smooth, but it’ll be worth it. Be in balance within and move forward step by step. You’ll know what to do.

Awakening Angels: Wow the Ace of Swords, what a card! A hugely positive glimpse into your possible future. You have fought for a path that is yours and using your unique gift of creativity, connection to nature, you are where you want to be. You have not denied your spirit, your angel being, in fact you have let it flourish and shine for all to see. This is who you are. Through following your heart you have found yourself. This knowing has always been there but there is now a strength of self. You have found all sides of yourself and are comfortable with them. Your spirit, power, earthly connection, spiritual connection. I feel there are peers around you now, you have gathered a group of people more at the same ‘level’ as you are. You enjoy this and flourish as a result. You’ve mastered your mind (not that this is a finality) your thoughts, your emotions, your beliefs – you sit atop the throne as opposed to all these smaller aspects.

In summary, I feel you know your direction but are holding back because you’re scared of upsetting people. Your soul urges you to do this for you, and know that following your path holds no reflection of how much you love the people in your life. This is about you now. They have their own journey and you have yours. Let your heart speak in the darkness of night, when it is just you and you answer to no-one. Let it tell you what it wants. Be the guardian of the messages you receive, be the carer for your own wishes.

What to do when you’re in a bad mood. Here’s my list.

how to be happy, high vibration, raise your vibration, eckhart tolle, alan watts, byron katie, heal, happy, The other day I was in a bad mood. Nothing particularly drastic but just grumpy, tired and a little low. I was tired from a big week so instead of wallowing and creating dramatic reasons for my mood, I decided to flip on youtube and watch a video or two on topics which help me feel alive, expansive and energised.

Little by little and without really trying I started to lighten up. I was interested in life again and it really got me thinking, how often do we experience a mood and then create drama within our heads to attach to it? We love to have reasons for everything, and sometimes we feel a certain way for which we may or may not have a reason for, but then we go hunting for a reason.

As Eckhart Tolle informs us, it’s the act of linking a thought with an emotion that traps the emotion inside of us, instead of just letting it pass in natural timing. It’s okay if the reason is glaringly obvious, but it’s when we go hunting for the reason instead of just being okay with however we’re feeling, that problems occur.

Our ego-mind loves to analyse and create drama, so we don’t need to be creating more situations to call on it’s help. It’s all about accepting however you feel and connecting into your spirit, then proceeding from that space.

In light of my experience I thought it would be interesting to compile a list of high vibrational mood raisers!

be happy, raise your vibration, how to heal, heal yourself, eckhart tolle, byron katie, feel good,

  1. Listen to a guided meditation -I know I’m a bit biased with that one…
  2. Watch an enlightening non-egoic video on youtube by people such as Alan Watts, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Esther Hicks, Bashar, Kryon.
  3. Read passages from A Course in Miracles, Opening Doors Within by Eileen Caddy or Osho (or any book that enlightens and inspires).
  4. Help someone else. (While this might be a struggle if your mood isn’t great, but it’s a sure fire way to snap you out of your internal slump!)
  5. Connect with someone you love through more direct communication like a phone call or in person.
  6. Ask “What can I give right now” – turn your attitude upside down
  7. Get outside, I live right by the beach so I flip my shoes off and sink my feet down into the sand.
  8. Do an Oracle or Tarot card reading to help shift your focus

What are your top methods to lift yourself up and get you feeling good?

Has anybody been through a period of upheaval recently?

2015, lunar eclipse, energies, shift, help, how to, 444, 222, 11:11We moved house last week which was a big period of change, like it is for anyone, but as go the energies of this year – it didn’t pan out as planned…

As soon as we moved we were informed our new rental might not be the long term place we’d originally thought it to be, and in fact that we might have to move again.

Interestingly though it’s not just me who’s been experiencing periods of great change and upheaval. For many of us 2015 has become the year of surprises. Astrologers have been talking about intense energies that have been at play for a while, but which (thankfully) are meant to be turning and shifting, closing down the tumultuous pulse, and spiraling into a new phase tonight, with the lunar eclipse.

But what feels like the only constant in the past few crazy months, has become the lesson of acceptance. I asked a little while ago (not to anyone in particular, but more to the universe and my soul) to understand acceptance – total ultimate, unconditional acceptance – and ever since then everything has become a surprise. I try to plan (yeah I know – plan and god laughs…) and as soon as I believe everything is going one way I end up being surprised at every turn. And it’s as though the only thing I can plan for is knowing that everything will change.

So having just moved into our new house we’ve spent the past few days looking at houses… But I’m getting better at it, not at looking at houses, but better at acceptance. It’s all okay. I’m learning. And I’ve realised that my ego still loves to rise up and latch onto future events and it seems every time I do that events don’t turn out how I’ve thought they were going to. I’m and many of us, are being taught that we can’t keep allowing our ego to drive the ship. It’s time to retire the old gal.

And I keep hearing the taoist allegory about the farmer and his son, going round and round in my head. Hmm are they trying to tell me something? Ya think….

Here is the story for you too, because maybe you are right here reading this post because you are being guided to learn something helpful for your own life.

The story is about old farmer who had worked his crops for many years.

One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbours came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they said sympathetically.

“May be,” the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. “How wonderful,” the neighbours exclaimed.

“May be,” replied the old man.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbours again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.

“May be,” answered the farmer.

The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son’s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbours congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.

“May be,” said the farmer.

I, like many people, am being reminded that everything is the same -and that’s okay. Nothing is good nor bad, and as soon as we judge it to be either one we can be sure our ego is at play. And we just can’t get away with ego-living anymore – especially when we’ve declared we want to help and evolve, be a light worker or a healer, or therapist, or a kind person. Whatever direction we are taking it’s time for the soul to be our guiding force. Living any other way will no longer be smooth, enjoyable or even do-able.

It’s time for the ultimate shift. ego, eckhart tolle, how to, power of now, acceptance, learn, 2015, life, energy, psychic

I can see how much I’d labelled the new house as ‘good’. ‘Great’ in fact. To the point that I couldn’t wait to move and I was living within my mind, very much in the future. In a future place that was deemed better than my current place – my current moment.

In conclusion, the lesson I am learning big time for 2015 is acceptance of what is. Radical, limitless acceptance of everyone and everything and every moment as it is. No judgement, no ego-driven future filled with better times to look forward to. Just now, just as it is. Reality.

Do you catch yourself thinking about how everything will be good soon? Or how you will be happy, successful, or have more time in the future?

Can you recognise when your ego-mind is at play?

Angel Reminder

Have you invited your angels in today?

Every morning I say the following simple invocation:angel art, spiritual, help, how to, psychic, life, healing, love, prayer

I invite the angels into my day, in every way.
I ask that you help me and guide me,
and intervene for my highest good.

I welcome your presence and assistance,
and thank you for being in my wonderful life.

I finish by drawing a deep breath into my heart which leaves me smiling.

The angels/god/universe are always there for us to help and guide us, however it is up to us to invite them in. Their powerful forces are like our pit-crew, waiting to help and enhance our lives, however most of the time we don’t realise this and battle through relentlessly struggling on our own.

This prayer is a great way to start the day because it helps us to remember that we are not alone.

Now I invite you to give this invocation a go and see how you feel.

Observe what you notice over the day.

Have a glorious day!

With love, Sharon

Seeing Miracles: A Simple Exercise

Meditation, simple, how to, relax, stress, anxiety, see auras, see energy, magicThis is an easy exercise you can do anywhere. It is beneficial to use when you feel stressed and when your thoughts feel as though they’ve formed a small tornado inside your head. But really, it is beneficial to do anytime.

It is a simple tool to help you chill out! It is meditative, calming, and opens you back up to experiencing the wonder of life.

Instructions:

1.      Stare off into space – let your gaze fall where it may (like daydreaming but you are not wandering off with your thoughts, you are staying present with your surrounds through vision)

2.      Slowly breathe in, purposefully filling your lungs and then pausing before you release the air. Calmly exhale, feeling your body let go as you release all the air from your lungs.

3.      Soften your gaze and let your eyes blur

4.      Notice what you now see in front of you. What you really see – not what you think you see. Let the shapes blur, so the edges are no longer solid and finite. Let your mind relax and let go of the need to label everything you see. What if you didn’t know what each thing was in front of you was? What if they didn’t have names? Notice how often your mind wants to say the name or label of whatever you’re looking at.

5.      Notice what appears in your peripheral vision.

6.      Now move your gaze to other places, (I recommend softly gazing toward water – especially when the sun is shining onto it).

What do you experience when you blur your eyes? This is a quick and easy meditation, and will help snap you out of your stressful life and back into seeing the wonder on offer.

I do this all the time and it’s amazing what you pick up, and how you can experience your surrounds with a whole new appreciation! I see all the colours of the rainbow glistening through each droplet of water in the shower and each drop becomes a chandelier radiating beauty. I see energy flowing up from the ground, as if I am sitting underwater and everything is moving. I see the magic of life free of labels, free of thinking, just experiencing with wonder, awe and amazement. I get to be free in the “I don’t know” space, letting the playground of the world present itself to me.

What do you see?
